Scott Kopp

Scott graduated from Barber Styling Institute in 2008. He would take up his career as a Barber in his Fathers Shop Steven’s Hair Designs in Shrewsbury PA. Where he would work for a little over a year until 2009 when he was called into Glatfelter’s Barbershop after the sudden passing of Donald Bushong, a 56 year Barber veteran and best friend to Richard Glatfelter. Scott was made a partner in his Fathers business in 2010. He enjoys all aspects of owning the Barber Shop. From working with all different hair styles, to seeing new and the same faces walk through our door.

In addition to his Barbering career, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife Kelli and their two boys Austin and Mason. Scott always looks forward to the family annual Ocean City Maryland vacation. And just watching his sons grow and learn every day! 

Scott also enjoys working at Burg Funeral Home in Red Lion and is currently the Vice President of Alliance Fire and Rescue Services Station 77 in Red Lion and Felton PA. And is a drummer for Pleasant View Church in Red Lion and is a member of their safety team.

It’s Scott’s main focus at Glatfelter’s to ensure every customer is treated with dignity and respect. To receive the best service possible and to like the way you look when you leave us!  If there’s anything Scott it his staff can do to make your time with us more enjoyable, please let Scott know.

Steve "Pop" Kopp

Steve "Pop" Kopp graduated from the Harrisburg Barber School in 1972. And has enjoyed his 50 years of serving the public in his barbering career and continues to do this each day.

Over his 50 years Steve has owned five Barber Shops and one Beauty Salon. Entrepreneurship has always been deeply rooted in Steve's heart in business.

In August of 2019 Steve decided it was time to allow his son Scott to take over ownership Glatfelter’s Barber Shop. However, Steve still remains on staff part time. 

Steve Kopp is married to Kimberly Ann Kopp. They have two children Angela Micheal and Scott Kopp & four wonderful grandchildren.

Steve was appointed by former Governor Tom Ridge to serve State board of Barber Examiner, and served for seven years. Steve also served as Vice President of Red Lion Boro Council and Mayor of Red lion for 8 years. Steve has made a lifetime commitment to serving others.

Sapinna Verden

Sapinna is a native of Altoona area, where she graduated  high school and proceeded to earn her Cosmetology licenses from the Pennsylvania Academy of Arts and Science in Johnstown, Pennsylvania in 1991. Sapinna quickly learned that salon atmosphere was not for her. She applied to  The Mall Barber Shop. John  (the owner) took  a chance & took her under his wing!!  She was inspired and motivated to then earn and obtain her Barber licenses through the Pittsburgh Barber School. In 2000, Sapinna moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania & landed a job at Manor Barber until 2010. A wonderful moment in time for Elton and Sapinna was the birth of their beautiful daughter, Alexis, in December of 2002 .Elton's job then took them in Buffalo, New York where Sapinna  worked at an 'old school' Italian Barber Shop. In 2013, the Verdens returned to Lancaster where Sapinna built her clientele at chain shop.  In 2019 she became the first FEMALE  barber to ever work at Glatfelter's Barber Shop. Sapinna feels  Glatfelter's brings that exact atmosphere of  an 'old school' barber shop with a 'new school' twist. 

When Sapinna is not working, she enjoys spending time with  - husband, Elton, and daughter, Alexis.  She also  enjoys capturing moments of life with her camera.

Manny Martínez (Retired 2020)

Manny attended Harrisburg Barber School were he graduated & obtained his Barbering license in 1962. Several years later Manny excelled to get his Barber Managers. He has received & earned several awards in the Art of Barbering & Styling.

Manny held several barbering jobs in Lancaster & Harrisburg area. Man's World for 12 years and Bill's Barbers 7 years. Manny owned a shop in Lancaster, Jules Barber Shop. In 1985, Richard Glatfelter  approached Manny in joining the Glatfelter's Team. Manny accepted and was the last of the Glatfelter dynasty with 40 years of faithful service completing his career.

Manny prides himself in begin a perfectionist no matter the pressure of fast moving pace

that many demanded years ago. More importantly, he learned to fight through adversity and evolve into the best version of a barber. Manny loves the artistry of barbering/styling, good conversation and loves working with people. 

Steve Mollica

Steve grew up on Lancaster County and was a customer of Glatfelter's Barber Shop for years. He fell in love with barbering, and attended Barbering Styling Institute in Camp Hill, PA.

Years later to further his career, he got his Barber Manager's and Barber Teacher & Cosmetology license. In 2012 Steve started teaching at American Beauty Academy and Champs Barber School.
Steve says he missed the customers at the barber shop, so quit teaching and stayed full time in the barber shop. He's been a barber for 17 years.

Steve has two kids, Carina and Brandon. He enjoys going to the gym and watching football.

Matthew Biddle

Matthew, was born in New Jersey and raised in Lancaster since he was three years old. He graduated from Mannheim Township High School in June 2019. Throughout his time in school, he decided to change how he got his haircut so, Matthew started looking for a barbershop.

Over the years Matthew’s interest in barbering grew from going to the barbershop to wanting a career in barbering. After High School, he enrolled in The Cutting Edge Barber Academy and graduated in October 2020.

In his free time, Matthew likes to make music, collect vinyl, get tattooed and hike with friends and family. Matthew joined the Glatfelter’s Team in October of 2020 after his Graduation from Barber School.
