  MEET OUR COACHES:

FEOLE STARTED NEE IN 2010 WITH THE DREAM OF DEVELOPING QUALITY COMPETITION AND COACHING IN NEW ENGLAND.

SINCE THEN, NORTHEAST ELITE HAS BECOME THE REGIONS' PREMIER FIELD HOCKEY CLUB BOASTING DI, DII & DIII COLLEGE ATHLETES, HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE ALL-AMERICANS, U17/U19 NATIONAL TEAM ATHLETES, AND WOMENS' NATIONAL TEAM ATHLETES.

AT THE CENTER OF NEE, AN EMPHASIS ON HIGH-QUALITY FIELD HOCKEY AND SISTERHOOD HAS NEVER DWINDLED AS THE CLUB HAS GROWN EXPONENTIALLY SINCE 2010, AND CONTINUES TO DO SO EACH SEASON.

Chelsey is a 2010 graduate of Boston College. Before creating NEE, Feole took an assistant coaching position at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. In just her first year at Lowell, Chelsey helped lead the Riverhawks to a 24-0 undefeated National Championship.

Most recently, Feole was nominated by USA Field Hockey as Coach of the Year: This award is for a coach who exemplifies the values of sportsmanship, fair play, and healthy competition. This nomination is given to a coach who is dedicated to their craft and works tirelessly to make their players, fellow coaches and the field hockey community better.

In 2015, Feole accepted the head coach position for the USA Women’s U17 Indoor Team and currently works as much as possible to keep herself involved with all things USAFH.

While playing for BC, she was a two-time captain of the Eagles and twice named All-American (First team in 2009, Second team in 2008). Honored as the Northeast Region Player of the Year as a senior, Feole was tabbed to the All-Northeast Region Team three times. As a senior, the forward was also named All-ACC First Team and was named to the All-ACC Academic Team in her of her final three seasons with BC. During her final senior campaign, she was named to the ECAC Division I First Team and All-ACC Tournament Team.

She left the Heights with a program record for most goals (26) and points (64) in a single season and earned the Athletic Director’s Award for Academic Achievement as a sophomore, junior, and senior. Feole earned the BC Field Hockey Leadership award as a sophomore in 2007, as well as the Players’ award and Outstanding Senior award in 2009.

Aside from her accomplishments at BC, Feole was also a member of the USA Field Hockey Squad in 2008 and 2009. She was a member of the New England High Performance Team in 2008 and 2009, winning the National Championship in 2008.

Feole is a native of Windham, NH., where she attended Salem High School for a year before transferring to the Brooks School in North Andover, MA. In high school, Feole was named the Eagle Tribune MVP in 2002 and 2005, as well as All-Star in 2003 and 2004. She was honored as a Boston Globe All-Scholastic and Independent School League MVP in 2004 and was named MVP of the New England Tournament as a senior.

MARIA KRULL

Co-Director of Indoor Programs/Administrative Assistant

An alum of NorthEast Elite, Maria knows first hand everything there is to know about the #sisterhood. A true NEE loyalist, and one of the best goalies NEE has EVER had, we couldn't be more excited to have Maria on board.

Maria had a successful career in goal for the Colgate Raiders. She started 50 of her 52 career games and tallied 545 saves for a 0.746 save percentage. Maria ranks fourth in program history for career saves. Her senior campaign, she ranked second in the nation for saves (165) and saves per game (9.71) and was ranked seventh for save percentage (0.786). As a senior was the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year, a Patriot League first team selection, NFHCA Senior All-Star, and a NFHCA All-Mideast Region second team selection.

Throughout her career Maria was a two time NCAA Statistics champion for saves per game, earning the award in 2015 and 2016. Maria was also a two-time Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week, a Patriot League second team selection, and the team Defensive Player of the Year in 2015 as a sophomore.

In addition to her success on the field, Maria excelled in the classroom as a three-time NFHCA All Academic squad recipient, a three-time Raider Academic Honor Roll member, and a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll member. Her senior year she was also named to the Patriot League All-Academic team.

NEE PRIDES ITSELF ON THE QUALITY OF COACHES INVOLVED IN THIS PROGRAM.

OUR HEAD COACHES WORK WITH NEE ATHLETES AND TEAMS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, INCLUDING BOTH INDOOR AND OUTDOOR TOURNAMENTS, PRACTICES & CLINICS.

NEE ATHLETES HAVE THE ABILITY AND OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT COACHES, RECEIVING VARIED FEEDBACK, AND BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
