Yale Head Coach 1999-2005
Ainslee Lamb joined the NEE staff in the summer of 2015. A resume too long to include on one page, Ainslee brings over two decades of Division I coaching experience, including over 16 as a head coach. Ainslee coached at the collegiate level from 2005-15 as the head coach at Boston College. Prior to her time in Chestnut Hill, Lamb held the top position at Yale from 1999-2005.
With Ainslee at the BC’s helm, the Eagles posted winning seasons each year, including every season while playing in the ACC. Under Lamb's tutelage, the Eagles were 121-75 and made four trips to the NCAA Tournament (2005, 2009, 2013 and 2014). She has coached 20 players to 33 All-America honors and 10 student-athletes to 15 All-Atlantic Coast Conference recognition. The Eagles also gained their highest-ever national ranking - No. 4 - under Lamb, and were a consistent Top 10 program under her direction.
Four of Lamb's student-athletes earned ACC Postgraduate Scholarships, two were named BC Eagle of the Year and one was honored as the ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year (Janna Anctil!).
Prior to her head coaching experience, she served as an assistant coach at Yale from 1997-99 and spent three years at UMass as an assistant and a graduate assistant. She serves on the NFHCA Executive Board as the second vice president. She is also certified in the United States Field Hockey Association as a coach on many levels.
Lamb also brings a wealth of experience as a player, having played for the Canadian National Team from 1987-92, competing in the Four Nations Tournament, Junior World Cup, World Cup, and Olympic qualifying tournament. She had successful collegiate careers at
After a successful NEE career, Taylor spent her collegiate tenure as a forward on the Boston University field hockey team. Helping to lead her team to back-to-back Patriot League Championships, she totaled 47 career points with 16 goals and 15 assists in 80 games played. She was named to the Patriot League All-Conference Team in 2015 and 2016, in addition to earning All-Region honors as a junior and senior.
On top of these accolades during her senior campaign, Taylor was named to the Patriot League All-Tournament Team and finished third on the team in points with 15 on four goals and a team-best seven assists.
Continuing her playing career, Blood was named to the U.S. National Women's Development Team in January 2017. With the potential promising, the U.S. Women’s National Development Squad accounts for the transitional phase between the U-21 USWNT and the senior US Women’s National Olympic Team. As part of this squad, she had the opportunity to compete internationally against the Chilean National Team in May 2018.
Coaching Highlights:
Right out of college, Taylor was named the first assistant at Merrimack College. At Merrimack in 2017-18, Blood helped six team members garner All-Conference nods during her season with the Warriors, including one Synapse Division II All-America selection. Following this successful career start, in 2018 Taylor moved into a Division I coaching role with UMass Lowell.

In addition to a number of NEE accolades, Taylor helped Winnacunnet claim two state titles (2010, 2011) before finishing as state runner-up as a senior. Taylor was a Division I All-State First Team selection and Union Leader All-State selection in both 2011 and 2012. Her senior year she was also the Seacoast Player of the Year, welcoming the team MVP award both her Junior and Senior seasons. Taylor was a two-sport captain of both her field hockey and track & field teams.
UMass Amherst '09
UMass Amherst Assistant Coach: 2009 - 2011
In her four years at UMass, Kate played in 81 games with 24 career goals and 11 assists. Starting her career, Kate was named Atlantic-10 All-Rookie team in 2005 with five goals and two assists on the year. In 2008, Kate ended her career on a high note. The forward started all 22 games for UMass, as the top goal scorer, she brought the team to its second straight conference title and a berth in the NCAA tournament. She took home individual accolades as she led the A-10 in goals, points, and goals per game and was named the conference's offensive most valuable player. She was also named a regional All-American by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association as a senior.
Coaching Highlights:
Following a highly accoladed playing career, Kate stepped over the lines and became an assistant coach at UMass Amherst from Spring of 2009 to 2011. Kate coached under the tutelage of Justine Sowry, and in 2010 Kate led UMass to another A-10 championship and NCAA birth. Kate is currently a middle school teacher full time and coaches all NEE clinics and tournament training throughout the year.

A three-year letter winner for at Manchester-Essex High School, Kate Posted 18 goals and 20 assists as a senior and 46 goals and 43 assists over her three-year varsity career. In Manchester-Essex she led the team to three Cape Ann League championships as a Three-time Cape Ann League All-Star, Two-time All-League, Boston Herald All-Scholastic and One of the "Best of 60 In Massachusetts" as a senior as well a two-time Team MVP recipient. A three-sport varsity athlete, she also played three years of varsity basketball, where she was a shooting guard and was a five-year member of the softball team as a second baseman and shortstop.
UMass Lowell '12
Colby Assistant Coach: 2012 - 2016
A highly productive defender turned mid-fielder, Hansbury was a fixture in the River Hawks' lineup for all four seasons of her playing career. Annie was a vital member of an undefeated 24-0 National Championship team in 2010. In 2008, 2009, and 2011- the Riverhawks were runner up in the National Championship games, a beyond impressive 4-year stint at UML for Hansbury.
Following a 2008 All-Rookie season, Annie is a two-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-American, earning First Team honors in 2010 and Second Team honors in 2011. A two-time Northeast-10 All-Conference selection as well, Hansbury appeared in 81 matches and totaled 33 points on five goals and 23 assists.
During the River Hawks' 2010 National Championship campaign, she scored 17 points and potted the opening goal in the 6-1 win over Stonehill in the Northeast-10 Championship. It was certainly no surprise that Annie

In 2012, Hansbury was hired as the assistant field hockey coach at Colby College in Maine, where she spent four seasons helping the Mules to a 31-29 record. Following Colby, Annie was named the assistant coach at Central Michigan University where she spent two years as the first assistant.
Annie was named the first assistant at Bryant University in 2018, where she intends to be a big part of the growth of the Bryant program.

Annie was a four-year varsity starter Timberlane Regional High School, NH. Hansbury was named Best Defensive Player in 2006 and Team Co-Most Valuable Player in 2007. She adds an Eagle-Tribune All-Star nod in 2007. Hansbury captained Timberlane her junior and senior seasons.
Tyngsboro High Head Coach 2018 - Present
Gianna joins NEE as a head coach, following a successful four year starting
Gianna came out strong for UNH, earning a spot on the America East All-Rookie Team following her Freshman year campaign. She also earned an All-Conference Team nod her junior year, culminating with a career leading senior season. Named a captain her senior year, Bensaia earned 2017 America East East Division All-Conference Team accolades on top of an All-Championship Team performance. Throughout this year, she tallied an impressive 3 game winning goals.
Gianna was not shy to an array of awards off the field as well. Graduating with a BS in physical education and a Masters in education, Bensaia earned numbers academic accolades: America East Academic Honor Roll (2013, 2014, 2015), America East Commissioner's Honor Roll (2017), and National Academic Squad (2018).
Coaching Highlights:
Right out of college, Gianna was named the head coach for Tyngsboro High where she is a full-time Physical Education teacher. Gianna has also coached at dozens of summer field hockey camps, always looking for an opportunity to give back to the field hockey community. Gianna’s coaching future is sure to be bright, as she is an incredible mentor for athletes of all ages.

Gianna comes from one of the most storied High School field hockey programs in the country - Lakeland High School, NY. On the US circuit, Gianna competed for the USA Field Hockey U17 squad ultimately making the USAFH U17 Jr. National Team in 2012.
During Gianna’s 4 years at Lakeland, she led the team to four consecutive Class B state championship. She was a consistent pick for postseason awards as she racked up 3 All-State selections, 3 All-Conference Honors, All-America Regional Team, and finisher her career as a Second Team All-American.
RACHEL LANOUETTE
NEE COACH SINCE 2017
Brown University '18
Lanouette joins the NEE staff as a full time coach, after several years as one of our most elite and consistent clinicians. An NEE alum herself, class of 2014, we couldn't be more thrilled to have Rachel back with us.
Rachel will be leading our U19 efforts this season, as she will be head coaching all teams in this age group. On top of her efforts as a U19 team coach, Rachel is also solely responsible for all additional U19 strength and conditioning sessions as well.
A four year starter at Brown University, Rachel finished her last two seasons at Brown as at the helm, captaining for two years. She finished her final 2018 season Named Second Team All-Ivy for the second-consecutive year ... Academic All-Ivy ... Started all 17 games for the Bears ... Finished her career starting every possible game (68) ... Recorded five goals and eight assists for 18 points ... Led the Bears in assists (8) and points (18) ... Her eight assists tied for third best in the Ivy League and tied for 12th best at Brown for a single season ... Opened the season with two assists against Bryant (Aug. 31) ... Recorded a goal and assist versus Georgetown (Sept. 23) and at Sacred Heart (Oct. 7) ... Also tallied goals against Columbia (Sept. 22), Cornell (Oct. 20) and Yale (Nov. 3) ... Finishes her career with 13 assists, which is tied for 12th all-time at Brown.

2020 Head Goalie Coach
In goal for UMass Lowell, coming from a successful high school and club campaign, Kelsey had an impressive career right out of the gate. Kelsey Started 50 of 57 career games while logging an impressive 384 career saves for a .718 save percentage.
She ranks sixth in program history for saves and sixth for minutes (3662:20) tied for ninth in career wins (16). She was a three-time America East Defensive Player of the Week winner and member of the 2014 America East All-Rookie Team.
