1 – Priceless Advice

Travel agents have firsthand experience. I can tell you about the best restaurants in Rome, how to skip the line in the Montego Bay airport, which resort has the best off-shore snorkeling, and which airline is best for international flights. You can’t tell what you’re getting from a photo or an online booking engine. I’m here to point you in the right direction.   I won’t suggest a trip that I know is not a good fit. 

2 – Preventing Hassles

DIY travelers don’t realize that if their hotel doesn’t live up to their expectations, they’re at the mercy of that hotel. Paying the cheapest rate may mean you will be the first to have your room denied if the hotel is overbooked. There is a HUGE difference between great value and the cheapest price. You may pay a low price for your airfare but that won’t mean squat if you’re stuck in an airport overnight. The cheapest option is rarely the best option.

3 – Saving Money

I have access to special flight prices, hotel and cruise rates as well as being the first to know about resort credits, excursion sales and other travel perks the DIY traveler may not be aware of. I’m not a fan of charging $5000 to my credit card through an online booking site with the hopes of everything going well when I get there. With a travel agent, you can pay a small deposit and then make payments along the way.

4 - Saving Time

DIY Travelers spend HOURS researching which destination, which resort, what day to fly, what’s the lowest rate, etc. It’s very easy to get overwhelmed and confused. I invest time in my clients to learn and understand what would be the perfect spot for their vacation. If you have detailed questions or a complicated itinerary, I do all the work for you. I make the international phone calls, I know who to reach out to in order to get the job done, saving you hours of frustration.

5 – Customer Service
