Romeo

Romeo was given to me a little over 3 years ago. He was 18 months old and his name fits him to a tee. Anyone who has ever met him loves him. Romeo is my best friend, my family, and has provided for me and the elderly in the nursing home.  Will all his tricks and his personality he has a way to charm your heart.  

On February 16, 2012 Romeo was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease.  He was prescribed numerous medications and gained some ground, but in less than a month took a rapid decline and he lost all control of his back legs.  To see him in so much pain was unbearable. I felt lost, and to even pet him seemed to irritate him.  I struggled with the decision if it was right for me to want to so desperately hang on. 

To keep this long story short: My sister-in law- recommended trying animal chiropractic.  After all, the medications were just acting as a band aid and not fixing the true cause of his problem.  The option of surgery was just too expensive and with such a low success rate I didn’t want to risk it.  My sister in law recommended Dr. Stacy Land at Rhythm of Life Animal Chiropractic.  Since I started with Dr. Land, Romeo is now able to get up and walk on his own again. His charm and will has returned as well as his smile!

With the adjustments and her guiding me through therapies and exercises to do at home, and dietary changes, the improvement continues.  He is making it without medication and without risky surgery.  I am so grateful to Dr. Land.  I have learned so much with her help and guidance.  My Romeo, (Mr.R) is healing back to strength in a natural and healthier way!  Thanks you, Mary M.
