Mrs. Isabel Angela Seery (BA in Childhood & Family Education) & (Dip. Montessori & Pre-School & Leadership).
Teaching is Isabel’s calling. While raising two children, she attained her Early Childhood Education qualification and brought her vision of Little Woods Montessori to life.
Isabel’s 30 years of experience in both the Singapore and International School systems enables Montessori principles to be applied in a wider context of society. As such, the children's possibilities for learning and development are vast and encompassing.
As Director and Mentor, Isabel continues to oversee the curriculum and direction of the school. Her passion for song & dance inspires Little Woods’ staff and children to showcase their talents in outstanding performances at the Annual Little Woods Concerts.
Mrs. Hafsa Fathah (Dip. in Montessori & Early Childhood Care and Education & Leadership)
Hafsa has 25 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Certified with the prestigious AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) qualification, she maintains a high standard of Montessori education for the children at Little Woods.
Hafsa is passionate about the development of children in today’s world. As the Montessori philosophy not only encompasses the child, Hafsa is driven to collaborate with parents, children, teachers and the community to optimize a holistic education for each child.
This has contributed to the reputation of Little Woods children. At completion of their 5 years with us, they are known for being gracious, responsible, respectful and well-informed members of the community.
Little Woods’ committed team of qualified, experienced and dedicated Montessori teachers hold Diplomas in Montessori, Diplomas in Early Childhood Care and Education as required by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) and Degrees in Early Childhood Education.
The teacher-student ratio is 1:6 in the Pre-Nursery class; 1:10 in the Nursery1 and 2 classes; 1:12 in Kindergarten 1 and 2 classes. It is our priority to provide a caring, gentle, stimulating, fun and safe environment for each and every child.
