William "Tag" Lewis Sr.

Our owner and friend, William “Tag” Lewis Sr., passed away suddenly on July 2, 2018. Tag was born March 2, 1956 in Salem, Ohio and was a founding member and President of Pipelines, Inc. He maintained over 40 years of experience in the waterworks industry, and subsequently retained countless friends and acquaintances from his tenure within the industry. Through his hard work and dedication, he guided Pipelines through a period of sustained growth, which resulted in the company’s current organization of six locations with over 50 employees.
 
Tag is survived by his loving wife, Marybeth, daughter Ursula and son William Jr.; stepson’s Hunter and Hudson, grandson Weston, and sisters Renee and Stevie. Tag was also proceeded in death by his son, Todd.
 
He will be remembered most for his sense of humor and his ability to build long lasting relationships, however his caring and giving nature is something that those closest to him will always remember. He was a consistent contributor to numerous local organizations, Toys for Tots and the American Cancer Society, as well as, anyone who needed help or a hand.
 
Tag also sat on several industry and local board committees;his favorite hobby outside of the waterworks industry was classic automobiles. He enjoyed working on these vehicles, as well as, racing them. Every year he and Marybeth, looked forward to taking one of their vehicles on The Great Race Classic Car Rally; it was on the last day of this event in 2018 that Tag unfortunately passed. He will be missed by friends, family and colleagues alike, and never will be forgotten or duplicated.
