Michael J. Langworthy, MD

Dr. Langworthy joined our practice in 2006. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in orthopedic surgery from Michigan State University at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center.

He was awarded a fellowship in adult pelvis and major joint reconstruction at the University of California-San Diego and served as director of Adult Reconstruction at the Naval Medical Center-San Diego from 1998-2004.

He has published numerous articles and lectured over 100 times nationally and internationally on the subject of cartilage damage and arthritis. Dr. Langworthy is a committee member of the American Hip and Knee Society, a Fellow of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, and a member of the Orthopedic Trauma Association.

Dr. Langworthy is board certified in orthopedic surgery, a recipient of the 2006-07 Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, and a recipient of the 2007 International Healthcare Provider award.
