On Cape Breton Island, drive along the world-famous Cabot Trail, named one of the world's most scenic drives, and visit Cape Breton Highlands National Park, where the mountains and sea meet. Visit Prince Edward Island National Park, famous for its red cliffs, wind-sculpted dunes, and sandy beaches. In New Brunswick, visit Fundy National Park, with the world's highest tides, rugged coastline & waterfalls and enjoy a guided visit of the Hopewell Rocks, famous formations carved by the Bay of Fundy with dramatic tides rising more than 50 feet.

Report to Rapid City Regional Airport for your flight to Boston. On arrival at Boston Logan Airport you will be met by your ABS Representative at the appropriate baggage belt and then transferred to your hotel for overnight.

Day 2 – Boston, MA to Bar Harbor, ME - 284 miles
Our journey today takes us to Bar Harbor, ME. This was New England’s premier summer resort in the 19th century. It was home to the largest hotel in North America and to Millionaires’ Row, a line of summer estates built for America’s richest and most powerful families—including the Rockefellers, the Fords and the Vanderbilts. While many of these estates burned down in a 1947 fire, you can still see some of these homes by walking along West Street.

Day 3 – Bar Harbor, ME – Arcadia NP - Saint John, NB – 216 miles
Nowhere along the Atlantic seaboard is the rock-bound coast as picturesque as in ACADIA NATIONAL PARK, one of America's most visited national parks. We take the scenic park road and enjoy the spectacular panorama from the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the first place in the continental United States to see the sunrise.

Day 4 – Saint John, NB – Full day Sightseeing
Today we enjoy the dramatic tides of the Bay of Fundy up to 27 feet in the Saint John area. We will be visiting Reversing Rapids twice on this tour (tides permitting). Our drive along part of the Fundy coast will include opportunities to stop for pictures or just enjoy the view. We will visit a real working lighthouse, have an opportunity to shop at local vendors and see twin covered bridges. We will visit the Village of St. Martins, an active fishing village today but most famous for its shipbuilding era. Take a walk to the sea caves which have been carved out by the tides of the Bay of Fundy over millions of years (tides permitting). An opportunity to try the local seafood (optional), where they advertise their World Famous Seafood Chowder. Take a picture of one of the famous Flower Pot Rocks. This tour will include a mini tour of Saint John and will include the City Market, King Square and a drive through some of Saint John’s historic streets. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 5 – Saint John, NB – Ferry to Digby, NS. (2 hr 15 minute crossing)
This morning, we board the ferry bound for Digby, a popular summer resort. Your hotel tonight is the Digby Pines Resort, a world of casual elegance in the tradition of the grand hotels. Surrounded by breathtaking beauty, you will have an opportunity to enjoy the views, recreation, and internationally-renowned cuisine in this Norman-style chateau. This evening dinner is included at the resort.

Day 6 – Digby – Lunenburg –Peggy’s Cove - Halifax, NS – 170 miles
Today, travel toward Nova Scotia's Atlantic coast and follow the winding shoreline to Lunenburg, one of the continent's major fishing ports and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here we visit the Fisheries Museum before heading to Peggy's Cove, a charming fishing village with a famous lighthouse perched on a massive granite ledge (one of the most photographed places in the world). We continue to our hotel for the next two nights.

Day 7 – Halifax, NS.
Today we enjoy sightseeing with a local guide this morning and included a visit to Citadel Hill with its early 19th-century star-shaped fort; the tree-shaded walks of the public gardens; and the harbor area, which evokes the port's former strategic importance. We will see the Fairview Cemetery… final resting place for more than 100 people who perished on the ill-fated voyage of the Titanic. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 8 – Halifax – Jeddore Oyster Pond – Baddeck, NS – 270 miles
We take the scenic Marine Drive north along the Atlantic shoreline through picturesque fishing villages, stopping en route in Jeddore Oyster Pond at Fisherman’s Life Museum, a typical Nova Scotia fisherman's house from the early 1900s. Via Canso Causeway, cross over to Cape Breton Island, one of the first footholds of European settlement in the New World. We continue to Baddeck and, upon arrival, visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum with exhibits tracing the achievements of the great inventor who spent the last years of his life on Cape Breton.

Day 9 – Baddeck – Cabot Trail – Baddeck, NS
Today, drive along the CABOT TRAIL, the area explored by John Cabot in the late 15th century, while savoring magnificent vistas of the rocky shoreline and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Enjoy a PICNIC LUNCH while admiring the scenery and tasting some of Nova Scotia's local wines. Finally, see CAPE BRETON HIGHLANDS NATIONAL PARK at the northern tip of the island, a landscape that strikingly resembles Scottish coastal regions.

Day 10 – Baddeck – Caribou – Charlottetown, PEI – 188 miles
Today we journey south to Caribou, where we take a ferry across the Northumberland Strait to Prince Edward Island. For the next two nights, we are in Charlottetown, the provincial capital. This evening, enjoy a lobster supper at a local restaurant.

A leisurely morning before our guided tour of the island that includes Prince Edward Island NP and a visit to Green Gables farmhouse, the setting for the famous novel Anne of Green Gables.

Today we travel across the 8-mile Confederation Bridge and then visit Hopewell Rocks, famous formations carved by the Bay of Fundy's dramatic tides that rise more than 50 feet. We then continue to Fredericton for overnight.
