Roger D. Meade, Esq.
Mr. Meade is a former Navy SEAL. He began his legal career with the National Labor Relations Board, litigating federal labor law disputes before Administrative and US District Court judges.
Later, as partner in a major nation-wide labor and employment law firm, Mr. Meade represented clients in a wide array of employment law claims involving both federal and state laws. He managed all phases of litigation, from discovery and motion practice through trial, brief writing, and appeals.
During this time, Mr. Meade appeared before numberous arbitrators and mediated diverse cases as an advocate. He also provided advice and counsel to corporate clients on a broad range of employee-employer relationship matters. Mr. Meade also served as a volunteer mediator with the Consumer Protection Division, Attorney General’s Office Of Maryland.
After leaving private practice, Mr. Meade served as in-house Labor Counsel for a large multinational corporation where his responsibilities included defense of all arbitration claims and mediation advocacy before state and federal agencies.
More recently, Mr. Meade has served as an arbitrator hearing contract interpretation claims and has mediated civil cases before the Baltimore City Circuit Court and Howard County Circuit Court. He also has mediated cases before the Mediation and Conflict Resolution Center in Howard County.
Mr. Meade serves on the Labor Roster of the American Arbitration Association and the New Jersey State Mediation Board. He has applied for memebership on the Labor Roster of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Serivce. He is licensed to practice law in Maryland.
Mr. Meade is trained as a Facilitative Mediator. He retains sufficient flexibility in his methodology to genuinely assist the parties to reach a mutually acceptable resolution.
