Sales Policy

All sales are final.  No returns , refunds, or exchanges.  Same day exchange may be allowed with prior approval.

Consignment Policy

Consignment is by appointment only. There is a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 hanging items plus 1 shopping bag containing shoes, handbags and accessories per appointment. All items must be current styles and no more than two years old, MUST be freshly laundered/dry cleaned, pressed & on hangers.  Any items that do not meet our criteria, or have stains, holes, odors, pet hair, damage such as broken zippers, missing buttons, etc, will be rejected and disposed of. Consignment period is 60 DAYS, and consignors will receive 40% of the sale price of better brand items (J Crew, Talbots, etc), and 30% for lower end outlet brands (Old Navy, Target, etc).  Designer items may be consigned for up to of 120 DAYS or more; consignors will receive 50% of the sale price of designer items. We do not accept fake/faux designer items, all items MUST BE AUTHENTIC. 

Early withdraw of merchandise is NOT PERMITTED. Upon expiration consignors have 3 days to retreive unsold items. Any items not retreived after 3 days automatically become the property of Frugalicious and may be donated. There will be NO PAYMENT on expired items. Consignors who wish to retrieve unsold items have 3 days after the expiration date.   We are not obligated to remind consignors of item expiration date or return rejected items.

Our annual consignment fee is $15 and is payable upfront by cash or check. 

Frugalicious will set the sale price for all items accepted on consignement. Periodic sales & markdowns will be at the sole discretion of Frugalicious based on condition, season, stock & demand & length of time on sales floor.

PAYMENT - When items sell, funds will accrus in consignor account and can be used at any time to make store purchases. Checks are issued on the 10th of each month PER CONSIGNOR REQUEST ONLY for the previous month's sales. Check requests must be received no later than noon on the 9th to allow time for issuing. Checks are not mailed automatically. All consignor balances/payments not picked up within one year of consignment will be considered forfeited to Frugalicious. Accounts inactive for one year will be closed.

DISCLAIMER- All items are left at owner’s risk. While we will do our best to safeguard your items Frugalicious assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to merchandise due to accident, fire, theft, vandalism, or any other cause. I hereby warrant that I have complete title to the merchandise consigned, and I do not hold Frugalicious responsible for any claim of title to it. I agree that I will not misrepresent a fake/faux designer item as authentic item for resale at Frugalicious. 

Drop-Off Wednesday

Existing Consignors may use our convenient "Drop-Off" feature on Wednesdays from 11am to 3pm.  If you are not a current consignor, please contact us so that we may set up your account prior to your arrival.  The following criteria applies:

  1. Existing consignment account must be current (contract on file and consignment fee paid to date).
  2. Up to 10 acceptable items (in season, in style, no flaws).
  3. All regular consignment criteria applies, ex: on hangers, etc.
  4. This is a drop off only, we will not look through your items while you wait.  
  5. Unacceptable items will be rejected and dontated to charity.
  6. Home Goods are not accepted during this time.

Home Goods

Acceptance of furniture must be preapproved by our staff prior to arrival.  Please bring in or email a digital photo to:  bfrugalicious@aol.com, for our initial review.  Home Goods appointments are accepted on Fridays only between the hours of 11am and 3pm.

  • All items must be clean, in good condition and in demand.  Any items that are missing parts, chipped, cracked or broken will not be accepted.  We may not be able to accept items that have been housed in a smoking environment.
  • Many things do not reveal themselves in a phone. We must physically see the item in order to guarantee absolute acceptance and arrive at an accurate price.
  • Please bring help to unload your items.  For liability reasons we will not provide assistance in moving items to be consigned.
  • Furniture and home decor pieces may be reclaimed within the week prior to expiration.  Please make arrangements in advance for any furniture pick-ups.

We Do Accept:  Quality Furniture, Antiques in good condition, quality furnishings and decor, unique paintings and artwork, lamps, throw pillows, serving pieces, pottery and select glassware.

We Do NOT Accept: Large or small appliances, computer/electronic equipment, particle board furniture, baby cribs, mattresses, linens or bedding, exercise equipment, books or baskets, mugs or incomplete dishware and glassware.

Layaway Policy

See something you love but doesn't fit into your budget this week? We are pleased to offer our customers a layaway program! A NONREFUNDABLE deposit in the amount of 1/2 of the sale price is required. THE LAYAWAY PERIOD IS 30 DAYS. All items must be paid in full and picked up on or before the expiration date. Items that have not been paid for in full by the expiration date will be returned to stock and the deposit will be forfeited to the store, NO EXCEPTIONS.
